For the majority of my 20-year career, I’ve operated my own art studio and craft workshop space, prioritising sustainable methods, eco-conscious products, and locally sourced supplies to maintain a low carbon footprint. I hold an interdisciplinary PhD (2015), a Master’s in Creative Technology (2010), a Master of Research (2012), and a First Class BA Hons in Design (2004). This allows me to approach complex challenges with a unique perspective, blending research-led insights with practical, creative execution
I welcome taking the time to speak with organisations and individuals who have similar values. I am also available for commissions in 2025 and 2026 if you would like to work directly with me.
Commissioning
My focus as a practitioner is on delivering beautifully executed and thoughtfully considered creative pieces. I primarily undertake nature-focused or sustainable projects on a commission basis, so I can tailor my involvement to your specific needs:
I can liaise with you to take a creative project or campaign, from its initial spark of an idea, right through to overseeing traditional print runs or specialist craft manufacturing.
Alternatively, I can engage my expertise for specific needs within an existing project, including:
- Unique traditional or digital Illustration of a wide range of flora, fauna, habitats or complex ecosystems.
- Traditional Print Design & Layout to produce marketing or informational materials, including maps, interpretive signage and digital resources.
- Bespoke Craft Manufacturing, Prototyping or liaising with external manufacturing organisations to produce sustainability focused pieces or products for market.
